不知火蜜柑是一種由清見蜜柑和椪柑雜交而成的柑橘品種。
它因頂部有明顯的凸起，故又稱「凸頂柑」、「醜柑」或「醜橘」。 果肉細緻多汁，風味獨特，甜度高且帶有微酸。

植物特性：
                   (外觀) 果實碩大，頂部有明顯的凸起。 
                   (口感) 果肉細緻、多汁、顆粒分明，風味為酸甜適口。 
                   (營養) 富含維生素A、B、C、E、胡蘿蔔素、鈣、磷、鐵等營養素。 
       (糖度與酸度) 糖度高（約13~16度Brix），酸度約1%左右。 
                   (產季) 通常在冬季成熟，但也可透過設施栽培延長產期。 

品種名稱由來
「不知火」: 據傳這個名字源於日本九州地區八代海和有明海一帶，傳說中有一種名為「不知火」的怪火，被認為是與柑橘獨特的風味相關聯。 
「醜柑」、「凸頂柑」: 這是因為它外形獨特的凸頂特徵而得名，也是其商業上的暱稱。 


種植事項：台灣中部較適合栽培。
                   產期為每年10月至隔年元月。
                   栽培該品種需要較高的溫度，且樹勢偏弱，因此需要注意疏果、促進生長，並在果實後期多加灌水。
                   採收與處理需注意，果皮雖然粗糙，但果肉細緻，採收後需小心處理，以免果皮受傷。 
                   應注意下列病蟲害，黑點病、炭疽病、油斑病、炭疽病及褐圓介殼蟲。
