Description
科    名：柏木科(Cupressaceae)
日    照：50~70%
水    份：每1~3日澆水一次。
繁殖法：扦插、播種。
特    性：常綠小喬木，忌強光直射。
                (葉子)葉呈片狀或短針狀，黃綠色略帶金黃色澤。枝葉搗碎後有特殊氣味，故名香冠柏。
                (枝幹)株高約1～4公尺，主幹直挺，樹皮呈現紅褐色，枝葉密集。
                (花)雌雄同株，雄花小，長橢圓形或卵形，黃色；雌花多接近球形。
用    途：
                1.適作庭園造景綠化用、家庭盆植，聖誕節亦可裝飾成聖誕樹。
                2.樹葉含特殊香氣，具有驅蟲功效，有防蚊蟲樹的別稱。

特別注意：
喜冷涼氣候，高溫成長不易，故台灣平地成長不易，而且容易感染菌病。
香冠柏是屬於冬季型植物，台灣炎熱潮濕，氣候太熱或是水分太多多會造成葉面腐爛，種植時要特別注意。
夏天要注意水分的控制，盆土表面稍顯乾燥時，就應注飽水，切忌盆土過乾。
若輸水線因過乾而閉合，會生長不良漸趨弱勢甚而死亡。
