Description
一年生草本，植株生長強健耐旱，株高約120~200公分。
花穗黃色，成熟的果穗會轉變為金黃色，生長期間色彩變化鮮明。
學名Chenopodium formosanum Koidz.，是台灣原住民栽植利用近百年的作物。
紅黎對於亞熱帶環境的適應性良好，植株生長強健、耐旱性極佳，只要不澆灌過多的水分使苗株根腐，則栽培與管理容易。
