特性
多年生草本植物，高約60公分，株型直立呈叢生狀。葉狹長且前端尖細，全株具有類似茴香的甜香味，是法國菜中經常使用的香辛調味料；與歐芹、大蒜和蝦夷蔥等混合，風味更佳。“龍艾”宜在料理快要煮好前再加入，以避免苦味。

栽培要點
種子均勻撒播於濕潤細泥炭土，上面再稍微覆蓋，保持濕潤，約3~6天發芽。發芽後讓幼苗盡速接受陽光，以免徒長。喜全日照環境，排水良好的砂質壤土為佳。宜隨時摘除花朶，促進多生側芽。在炎熱而潮濕的地區，生長不佳。宜適度修剪，使株型良好。施肥：種植前酌量施用“滿地王有機肥”混入土壤中作基肥；生育期施用營養肥如“葉綠精”等做追肥。

用途
可隨時採摘嫩葉，用於沙拉、醋、乳酪、調味汁、沙拉醬、蛋黃醬、湯、穀類、米飯、蛋、魚、雞肉、豬肉、奶油、蔬菜、泡菜…等。葉子的浸泡液富含維他命A、C、碘和礦物鹽類，並有增進食慾、幫助消化之效。
