特性
一年生草本植物，株型直立，高約60公分。葉片大且表面有茸毛，莖、葉揉碎後有一種清淡的胡瓜香氣。開紫青色星狀小花，故別名「星星花」，花色優雅細緻。生長快速，栽培容易，適合秋~春季播種栽植。

栽培要點
可直播或育苗後栽植。播種後再稍微覆土，保持濕潤，約5~8天發芽。幼苗期可移植1次，使株型繁密，株距約40公分。喜冷涼、全日照環境，在疏鬆、肥沃而排水良好的砂質壤土中生長最佳。生長期間適度修剪，可使株型飽滿。施肥：種植前酌量施用“滿地王有機肥”混入土壤中作基肥；生育期施用營養肥如“葉綠精”等作追肥，開花期施用“康普花精”等開花肥。

用途
花朶可點綴在湯、冷飲、酒、蛋糕和沙拉中；葉可用於湯、沙拉、乳酪、三明治或與魚、蛋、肉類同煮，亦可做冷飲、醋和泡花草茶。乾燥花可做薰香材料。
