Description
特點：
            根系發達，能防止土壤流失，是水土保持的極佳草種。
            百喜草為熱帶性草種，生長快速，可耐低溫，但長於低溫下栽培會造成生長停滯。
            土壤適應性強，貧瘠沙地與黏土皆可生長，土壤酸鹼值忍受度大（pH5.5-7.9），耐鹽性普通。

草皮特性：
                   為禾本科、百喜草常見於台灣任何區域因匍匐走莖成熟後膨大鼓起，地上莖密度較稀疏，
                   細緻度不如百慕達草，所以景觀草坪較少使用，但卻是優良的草生栽培草種。
                   百喜草在低海拔地區生育良好，不易開花結子，根系深達 1 公尺，是水土保持優良草種。

用途：
           1. 常用於工程邊坡的水土保持。
           2. 果園覆蓋、台壁植草、草皮、草溝等。
