科    名：唇形科(Labiatae) 
日    照：50~70%
水    份：每1~2日澆水一次。
繁殖法：扦插、播種、壓條。
特    性：
                1. 一年生草本。
                2. 性喜高溫微濕，忌強光直射。
                3. 每年生產季自3~4月開始種植至當年9~10月成熟後採收。
                4. 仙草植物外型似薄荷葉，小巧翠綠、略帶絨毛，葉片呈十字放射狀展開。
                5. 台灣目前種植仙草分佈於新竹縣關西鎮、芎林鄉，苗栗縣銅鑼、三義，桃園縣新屋鄉，花蓮縣鳳林鄉居多。
用    途：
                1. 庭院、田間、陽台觀葉(香草藥)盆栽。
                2. 仙草葉片乾燥後，適合泡茶或研磨後做加工品甜點。
