Description
植株型態：靠接苗 或 實生苗。
果實特性：做為授粉樹苗，果實中小等，脆而甜，多汁。
種植事項：性喜高溫，生育適溫25~32℃。
                    鼠李科，多年生半落葉小喬木植物。全省皆可栽培。
                    「棗子50」為授粉樹，可以壯大其果實，並增加其甜度。
                    每年10月中到翌年的3月為主要產期，盛產期12月至翌年2月。
                    病蟲害需留意白粉病，輪斑病，捲葉蟲，毒蛾類，紅蜘蛛，介殼蟲。


一般棗花裂蕾時間分兩種型態：
1. 上午開花型(上午花瓣展開，雄蕊成熟，雌蕊在下午發育完全，接受花粉)。
    例如高朗1號(五十種)、高雄3號(黃金蜜棗)、高雄5號(青蜜)、高雄7號櫻桃蜜棗等品種。
2. 另外一種是相反的下午開花型(下午花瓣展開，雄蕊成熟，雌蕊在下午發育完全，接受花粉)。
    例如蜜棗、中葉、金桃、三木、高雄8號(珍寶)、高雄11號(珍蜜)、高雄12號(珍愛)等品種。
**由於花粉活力會隨時間增加而降低，因此配置授粉樹應以不同時間開花者為佳
