Description

植株型態：實生苗。

果實特性：
                   果實兩粒約一斤多重。
                   果色外觀鮮黃，果實甜度高，果型大小如柳丁。
                   黃金果熟透時，果皮是艷麗的金黃色，果肉口感似果凍，味道卻像釋迦，風味獨特。
                   食用黃金果時，無須削除果皮，對半切開後可直接用湯匙挖取，因果肉易氧化變褐色，切開後盡量食用完畢；冰過後再享用，風味更清甜爽口。
種植特性：
                   全台皆可栽培。肉質滑嫩，每年可收果兩次。
                   植珠型態近似蛋黃樹，樹高約可達 20尺以上。

關於繁殖黃金果，可分為下述方法：
1.種    子    繁    殖：黃金果，種子繁殖的後代果實性狀無法保證與親本相同(變異較大)。
2.嫁接、高壓繁殖：其後代植株與果實性狀會與原來的親本相同。
