Description
科    名：蓼科(Polygonaceae)
日    照：半日、全日照。
繁殖法：播種、分株。
特    性：多年生草本。
               生長強健，耐病蟲害，栽培容易。
               開花條件，大約在15～25℃環境較適合開花，平地栽培少見開花。
               葉互生，長橢圓形、長箭形或盾形，厚質多肉，莖短縮呈叢生狀，有走莖狀構造。
               20～25℃之間是最適合它生長的條件，在台灣平地冬天它的生長沒有問題，夏季來臨時它的生長勢就會很明顯的變差。
               開花時花序直立，小花肉質在花序上輪生或不規則著生，酸模是屬於雌雄異株，法國酸模及羊蹄類是雌雄同株的植物。
用    途：庭院、戶外、陽台觀葉香草盆栽。
               酸模常作為料理調味用，其嫩莖葉可生食。
               因含有草酸，導致此植物嚐起來有酸溜口感，也因此得名「酸模」。
